Position Description:
Transatlantic Reinsurance Company, a leading international reinsurance organization, is currently seeking a Senior Contract Analyst for its Underwriting Services department, in its New York location.
Specific Senior Contract Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Independently review and analyze new and renewal reinsurance contracts, including drafts, finals and addenda, utilizing proprietary database
Provide analysis and interpretation of contractual language to underwriters, recommending TRC’s preferred version of selected clauses within the contract
Prepare review memo for underwriters, highlighting any discrepancies, changes, or recommendations
Enforce all current TRC standards and legal requirements
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years experience in reinsurance contract review and analysis, within a reinsurance company or reinsurance broker
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with a Direct writing reinsurance company a plus
Intermediate MS Word processing skills
